The Chamber was founded less than four-thousand years ago as a response to the rise in dragonmarks across the common races of Khorvaire and the islands of Aerenal. The Chamber operates in contrast to the prevailing attitude of most dragons on Argonnessen , who are mostly obsessed with the Draconic Prophecy and not disrupting it. The Chamber, while prone to taking an active hand in the affairs of Eberron , is not a body that works directly. Indeed, very few beings know of its existence. Instead, the dragons of the Chamber operate through proxies in order to keep their involvement secret.

I'm always skeptical about campaign setting books that are just outlines of a new world with very limited new options and rules.
New official class, four new races, 12 Dragonmarks with new sub-races, a complete lore dive and in-depth world explanation, an entirely new patron system, and dozens of new magic items. This is worth the price for DMs and players alike even if you care nothing about the world of Eberron. Not everyone will agree with the changes made, but the amount of content alone makes this book a must have.
I am a huge fan of the Eberron Campaign Setting. I am quite glad to see this setting now updated for 5th edition. This book is fairly mechanics heavy, not offering a ton of new lore for old lovers of the setting. But mechanics questions from 3.
The patron system introduced is a HUGE amazing new piece of content to the adventures and gaming of Eberron, and I am quite glad for that addition. Solid addition to the Eberron setting, and looking forward to seeing a new cadre of gamers entering into the setting.
Pros: - Loved the poster map in the back of the book! I was hoping for a longer book that used Wayfairers Guide as its core and expanded upon it. Instead this seems like a revised and edited Wayfairers Guide. I just baught this for warforged. So when i read this i was blown away. This is almost the players handbook with bits of the dms guide 2.
It's well worth a purchase. The articfer is going to be my next class. All the modules would be worth it on there own. I also love all the variants. Book came as ordered with no damage, but as you can see in the video there was no packaging.

The dragonborn come from Argonnessen , the continent of the dragons. While the beaches of Argonnessen are populated by the tribes of the Seren , within the jungles of the continent's interior lie the great city-states of the dragonborn. The dragonborn rarely leave Argonnessen, with the exception of a large colony of dragonborn that founded a settlement in the land now known as Q'barra. Little is known about the origins of the dragonborn. The dragonborn, or drakatha in their native language of draconic, were born on the continent of Argonnessen, the home of the dragons. Most dragonborn serve the drakamakki , or "dragon-kings", of Argonnessen in huge city-states that populate the interior jungles of the continent. The dragonborn worship the dragon-kings like gods, erecting huge temples to them and helping in their pursuit of the Draconic Prophecy.
