EN Part2 is a euro norm standard relating to weldable pressure vessel grade alloy and non—alloy steels used in elevated temperature service. The standard supersedes the old British and DIN standards. Chrome Molybdenum steels, with their higher temperature resistance, come under this standard and this section includes link to EN chrome moly grades which are suitable for the fabrication of pressure vessels and boilers. Chrome Molybdenum pressure vessel grade steels offers good corrosion resistance and weldability.
