Mitsubishi was able to sell the Magna TM for a cheaper price than their competitors, but it had many safety issues. The first generation had 3 different models. In April of , Mitsubishi released the redesigned Magna sedan. It was the largest sedan to date. And in they released the redesigned station wagon. The vehicles in this generation were more aerodynamic and they were heavier. Some of the upgrades to the 2nd generation include keyless door entry, climate control, cruise control, an updated sound system, power windows, electronic driver seat control and a security system.
